Ali Edwards has a fabulous thing that she does at the beginning of each year. She chooses a word that she believes will be significant in her life. I did this last year and it was so interesting to see how the word I chose was right on the money in terms of what transpired. Which came first though? The chicken or the egg? Did my life form around the word or did the word take on meaning because of what was happening my life? Hmmmmmm....
My word for 2008 is: ADVENTURE.
-an exciting or unusual experience
-participation in exciting undertakings or enterprises
-a bold, usually risky undertaking
-a commercial or financial speculation of any kind; venture
My work with Cornish Heritage Farms this is year going to be an adventure of epic proportions. I can't wait to start sharing with you all that we have been dreaming and planning.
So tell me friends, what do you think life has in store for you this year? What's your word?
I have been following Ali Edwards' mom's blog all last year at
http://peaceeveryday.blogspot.com/
In 2007, her word was PEACE and she is continuing it through 2008. By reading it, we can see where Ali Edwards got her creativity.

I love this idea of having a defining word for the year. I'm going to have to try this.
