The Diesel Says Happy 4th!
Herro! I hope all of you American chicas have had a wonderful holiday. :) Diesel is 5 months old already - so hard to believe. He continues to be such an angel. Don't get me wrong, he's a puppy, but a wonderful fairly mellow puppy.

I have been wanting to share this design for ages. It was featured in the Online Tutorial section at Paper Crafts Magazine which was fun. ;)
It was incredibly easy to create, all you need is a Clorox Bleach Pen. Basically, I heat embossed the Victorian Sunflowers with detail fine black embossing powder on dark brown card stock and then "colored" with the bleach pen in the areas that are now yellow. It doesn't change color right away, you just have to play with it to see how it reacts with the cardstock you are using. Pretty cool huh? I need to try this technique with some other backgrounders.

We did have a release today - Ready for Christmas by Sandra Kuck:
Isn't this little girl trimming the tree just the sweetest? One of our designers, Lisa Silver is teaching a FREE online class at CHF to create a Luminaria with this image. Click on this link to see if you might be interested in attending.
Last but not least, have I mentioned that along with celebrating Christmas in July with all Christmas releases, we are giving a GIFT, as a thanks to our customers with every order this month? You will receive a different gift with any order placed in July! This was Liz's idea and she was so excited to buy treats for everyone.
Enjoy your weekend friends!

What a cute puppy! He should be on a commercial singing:
"There ain't no bugs on me. There ain't no bugs on me. There may be bugs on some of your mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me!"

I have all her books and am delighted to see the beautiful artwork in rubber. Of course, I could be a little biased with the last name of Kuck. Wish I could figure out if Sandra is any relation!
